USA THE BIGGEST LOSER W/PLANET FITNESS

In this 360 campaign for The Biggest Loser we profiled Erica Lugo, one of the Biggest Loser’s most inspiring trainers. Erica walks us through her amazing weight loss journey that began with Planet Fitness. This campaign was as inspiring as it was extensive with campaign deliverables reaching across digital, linear & social platforms as well as playing at Planet Fitness gyms across the country. Organic posts from Erica’s instagram handle (659K followers) were also created by our team & leveraged for this campaign. Erica’s latest IG post from this campaign is at 82K+ views & climbing. Planet Fitness was very pleased with the results & are likely to return next season for another sponsorship opportunity! What I am most proud of is the vast amount of content we produced across multiple platforms that organically worked together to deliver an inspiring message to USA viewers, Erica’s followers & Planet Fitness members. The video seen above is the :60 hero spot that spearheaded the campaign on USA’s Biggest Loser site.

 

 

SYFY WIRE REACTS | “JOKER”

Syfy Wire is Syfy’s news outlet featuring coverage of all things genre. In this custom vignette, our Syfy Wire correspondent breaks down the latest trailer for the movie Joker. Our client, Warner Bros., loved our eagle-eyed fan approach to this creative and asked us to create another version of this spot for their Joker Home Video Release to air during commercial time.

As a fan of both Unbreakable & Split working on this campaign was an opportunity I couldn’t pass up. In preparation for the Glass press junket I researched & wrote questions for the director & cast. I also directed & interviewed M. Night Shyamalan for our Director’s Take vignette.

 

 

USA DRAWING BOARD W/ LAYS

This was the first sold opportunity for our USA Drawing Board franchise & as such I gave full attention to the meticulous details to make this vignette shine. My responsibilities required making key decisions in talent casting, script/illustration creative direction, set design, lighting & wardrobe. On the post-production side, it’s always a challenge to keep a static shot interesting, so I gave this tabletop shoot a dynamic edit & a well-crafted sound design to allow the viewer the most visceral experience. Lays approved this cut on the first round.


 
 

SYFY WIRE FROM THE CON W/ XFINITY

One of my biggest wins for the year is my contribution to this campaign at San Diego Comic-Con. As the lead comic-con producer, I wrote, produced & edited 5 creatives for the Xfinity campaign including the Fan Creator Awards custom vignette that you see here. On the ground at Comic-Con, I directed our on-air talent & ENG crew to assure the content captured was of the highest caliber. This was also the most ambitious timeline I had ever faced; tasked with turning around 3 creatives from shoot to delivery within hours.


 
 

SYFY WARcraft takeover

These Warcraft vignettes came with their challenges; tight deadlines & less than satisfactory EPK interviews with the cast, just to name a few, but after all was said & done we wound up exceeding Universal Studios expections. This campaign was a big win, Universal Studios loved our promotion & shared these trailers amongst their internal team as inspiration to base their entire national marketing campaign.


 
 

SYFY science behind the fiction “the expanse” syfy live your best life “the magician’s”

The first year POM Wonderful came to us, they were interested in a custom vignette with The Expanse. Their science-based brand values dovetailed nicely with our Science Behind the Fiction franchise which resulted in the first vignette you see here. As always heavy attention was given to the edit & sound design & I think it wound up being a pretty fun spot! POM loved it so much they came back the following year looking to promote within The Magician’s & we delivered for them again in spades.
